start-up of new low-cost scheduled airlines an increase in routes offered by network carriers. Along
with these developments the world has seen a rapid expansion in the growth of regional airports
many of which now serve as hubs for low-cost and charter airlines. This rapid expansion has led to a
huge demand for a new flexibly skilled workforce. By completing this course learners will gain a L3
qualifications in Aviation Operations and join the several jobs in the industry world-wide.
We are making this qualification available in UK, Europe and internationally using the latest
development in learning technology. The course is available through face to face, blended and
virtual and long-distance classes.

Entry Requirements

4 GCSE including English and or Maths- or Level 2 equivalent.
You will also attend a suitability interview.

Via coursework presentations online and paper exams and practical role-plays

Aims of the course

To enable learners to gain employment in the Aviation Industry or progress onto higher/university
education. The course aims to fill the skills gaps currently identified within the field of Aviation
including airports and airlines operations, flight dispatch, aviation meteorology, Flight Operations,
aviation terminology, Principles of Flight and aircraft types and performance, customer service,
destination geography, health & safety and security, team leadership skills. HR in Aviation, EBusiness and Marketing and general knowledge of the Aviation industry.

Progression Opportunities

After successful competition of this course, you can progress to Pilot, flight dispatch, cabin crew or
Air Traffic control training, aerodromes/airports and Drone operations, Aeronautical Information
Services officer (AIS), various airline trainee positions, aviation marketing and HR jobs and trainee
positions and progression to university and degree-level study.
This course gives credits towards UK university entry qualifications.
